what can I expect from the

closing process?

Traditionally, the seller in a transaction chooses the Title Company to use. The selection will be noted in the purchase contract. Once Hayes Title Agency has been selected as the Title company of choice, we will be notified by the real estate agents and/or lending institution. Once we have received a copy of the purchase contract, the wheels start to turn on our end. If there are real estate agents involved, we will communicate directly with them to keep you in the loop as to where the process stands and what additional information may be required from you.


When can we close on

the property?

If there is no lender involved in the sale, closing is possible as soon as it is determined that all matters involving the title on the piece of property are resolved. If there is a lender involved with the transaction, the lender will determine the closing date once they have approved all financing.
